The ACT Executive Directors’ Group provides a forum
for Alcohol and Other Drug Chief Executives and Executive Directors
to:
- Share information about the changing needs of the ACT community,
service development priorities and opportunities to resource
initiatives.
- Facilitate linkages between alcohol and drug services and relevant
national and local strategies and initiatives such as the ACT
Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drug Strategy 2004 – 2008 and the National
Drug Strategy: Australia’s Integrated Framework 2004-2009.
- Facilitate the ongoing development of effective linkages with
other sectors including youth, children and families and mental
health.
