The ACT AOD Sector Project in partnership with the ACT Drug Action Week Planning Group hosted an ACT launch for DAW 2009. Mrs Agnes Shea, Ngunnawal Elder opened Drug Action Week in the ACT and Ms Katy Gallagher, Deputy Chief Minister, Minister for Health officially launched DAW in the ACT. Mr Mark Cooper Stanbury, Australian Institute of Health and Welfare presented findings from the 2007 National Drug Strategy Household Survey. ACT Alcohol and Other Drug Services also had service information stalls.
